it’s impossible for daisuke to resist the even tempo of ken’s sleeping heart beating beside him; if he can’t feel it inside himself, he has to at least listen to it if he ever wants to relax enough to doze off too. he’s sure ken will wake up when he fumbles his shirt open and lays his ear to his chest, but only one part of him seems to respond to his touches, forming a modest tent in his pajama pants. it’s then daisuke realizes how helpless he is to resist any part of ken, because soon enough he’s touching, rubbing, tugging that too to hear his heart jump and sputter, and when ken does finally wake on the cusp of overflowing, it’s daisuke’s name that spills from his lips.
