ken sees how close daisuke is with "taichi-senpai" and gets extremely jealous (he might not even be aware of this himself). so he takes to initiating contact with daisuke in front of taichi, draping himself over him like daisuke usually does to him. this role reversal confuses daisuke (but he's extremely into it), but ultimately it leads to them both realizing how much they like each other. (meanwhile, taichi is just watching amused bc they're so glaringly obvious)
